Health Dialogues: Healthy Choices
Nearly 40 percent of Californians are overweight. Much of this is because of poor diet. The May edition of Health Dialogues focuses on obesity and nutrition. What's in the food we eat? Why are we making such unhealthy choices? What impact does the marketing of food have on us? How is the food industry responding to concern about obesity and nutrition? What about people whose food choices are limited? How can low-income communities increase their access to fresh produce?
